The highland kingdom of Bhutan is one of the last unspoilt places on earth. Television was introduced only in 1999, and the country measures its progress with Gross National Happiness (GNH). We recommend staying at least 9 days to explore the country, and possibly more to explore the remote Eastern valleys. Flight connections to Bhutan are limited, and the best way to arrive is by flying in from Bangkok, Kolkata, Kathmandu, Singapore or New Delhi.
The Journeys Asia team has traveled extensively in Bhutan and we will be happy to share our knowledge to plan the perfect itinerary for you.
